  • Can I approve my proof online?

    Yes! Your customer service rep will send you a link to approve or deny and make changes to your artwork.

  • Can I pay for my order online?

    Yes! As part of the art approval process, you can pay for your order once you have approved your proof.

  • How much do cards cost?

    This depends on the specifications of your order. Please ask your customer service representative for pricing.

  • How long will it take to print my cards?

    Our standard lead time to print cards is 10 - 14 business days. If your order is completed sooner than that, we will ship as soon as possible.

  • Will I be charged a monthly or swipe fee?

    We only charge for the cards, art, and shipping. We do not charge a monthly or swipe fee, since we are not processing the gift card transactions. Any monthly or swipe fees will be charged by your payment processor.

  • What is the minimum quantity of custom cards?

    Depending on the specifications of your gift cards the minimum quantity is either 250 or 500.

  • How long does it take to get a proof?

    The lead time for a new proof is 2-3 business days, 1-2 business days for a reorder, and 1 business day for a change. If we are not meeting this time frame, please follow up with your customer service rep.

  • What is a carrier?

    A carrier is a card presenter. People rarely give a gift card by itself, so we recommend that you save your customer the hassle of having to go elsewhere to get packaging for your gift card.

  • What are scratch-offs used for?

    It conceals a PIN that is used for security purposes. Not all POS providers or payment processors offer this option.

  • What is the fastest turnaround time I can get?

    Our standard lead time is 5-7 business days. If you agree to pay a rush fee and overnight shipping, we can rush an order and produce it in 2-3 business days.

  • Why do I have to approve art proofs on a reorder?

    It's our company policy to get approval on everything we print, even it if it's a reorder. This ensures that what we print is exactly what you expect.

  • Can I get a physical sample of my card before I approve the art?

    Yes. We refer to that as a press proof which can be done for a fee.

  • Why does color on the back of the card cost more?

    Our presses are able to print 4/1 (CMYK, or full color over black) in one pass. If we print color on the back, we have to put the cards back on the press and run them through a second time, which incurs the extra charge.

  • What is the preferred format for art?

    We prefer vector art in EPS, PDF, or AI file formats but we also accept layered PSD files and high res JPG and PNG files as long as they do not have template lines flattened to the art.

  • What is a template?

    A template is a guide designed for the production of art. It gives us guidelines to abide by so when it comes to producing the art nothing gets cut off, or left out.

  • Can I fax my artwork?

    Faxed art is typically low res, and a lot of detail gets lost in the faxing process. If you don't have a design image, we can duplicate your current design for a fee.

  • What is flat artwork?

    Flat artwork is artwork that has no layers. All elements of the design are on one layer and cannot be edited in anyway.

  • What is vector art?

    Vector art is a non-pixel based piece of art that is fully editable and has no limits on size such as a logo An example of Pixel based art is a flat image that is limited on size and editing.

  • What are your artwork fees?

    If you use the templates provided on our website correctly there will be no art charge because they will be set up for proofing and printing. However, we will charge a minimum of 17.50 for art that requires any editing to become print ready.

  • What is a PMS color?

    The Pantone Color Matching System is largely a standardized color reproduction system. By standardizing the colors, different manufacturers in different locations can all refer to the Pantone system to make sure colors match without direct contact with one another.

  • What does 4/1 and 4/4 mean?

    4/1 means your card will print with a combination of 4 colors on the front of your card Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black (CMYK) AND then 1 color on the back which is black. 4/4 means your card will print with a combination of 4 colors on the front and the back of your card.

  • What is the turnaround time for new artwork?

    Art turnaround time is 1-2 business days. This varies during the busy holiday season.

  • How long does it take to create a card proof?

    Once we start working on the card ,under normal circumstances, it will take 15-20 minutes. However, that can change depending on what the job requires. This varies during the busy holiday season.

  • What is layered art?

    Layered art allows you to move, edit, hide, lock, and work with content on one layer without affecting content on other layers.
